The U.S. Army Soldier Show and Operation Rising Star are cancelled for the 2016 season due to reductions in budget and troop strength. To win in a complex world, the Army must focus all available resources on readiness. It is prudent in these times to ensure all Soldiers focus on their primary mission, and any resources saved are allocated to enable readiness for a self-reliant and globally-responsive All Volunteer Army.
