She began taking private voice lessons at age 12 and was a choir member throughout middle school, high school and college.
As a military brat, he moved from Japan to North Carolina to Hawaii before settling in South Carolina.
He began performing in elementary school plays at age 10 and participated in theatre arts throughout his career at Louisville Male High School and Union College in Barbourville, Kentucky.
