"Entertainment for the Soldier, by the Soldier"
The U.S. Army Soldier Show and Operation Rising Star are cancelled for the 2016 season due to reductions in budget and troop strength. To win in a complex world, the Army must focus all available resources on readiness. It is prudent in these times to ensure all Soldiers focus on their primary mission, and any resources saved are allocated to enable readiness for a self-reliant and globally-responsive All Volunteer Army.

It’s Army entertainment like you’ve never experienced before. The Soldier Show is a live Broadway-style variety performance featuring our best talent. It’s singing, it’s dancing and it’s amazing!
Each year, Army Entertainment brings together a talented troupe of performers who are selected through a rigorous audition process. They spend months rehearsing and training before taking the show “on the road” annually between May and September. Even the backstage crew for the Soldier Show has a lengthy screening process.
The Soldier Show was selected to perform in New York’s Times Square in 2012 as part of Fleet Week. Every year, The Soldier Show has a complete tour schedule, appearing in venues throughout the country.
